Nicole Carter is a highly accomplished and dedicated professional in the field of aquatics, bringing a wealth of experience and a proven track record to her new role as the Aquatics Director for the Salem Country Club. A proud graduate of Wheaton College, Carter's coaching journey began as an assistant coach for the Lyons, where she played a crucial role in the team's success at the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) championships. Nicole is currently the Head Coach of Brandeis University Swim and Dive. Under her guidance, the team developed a strong sense of camaraderie and work ethic which is highlighted by the team consistent improvement over the years. Beyond her collegiate coaching experience, Carter also served as the Head Coach at Evolution Aquatics in Westborough, Massachusetts. In 2010, she founded the program, cultivating a culture of excellence from swimmers aged 6-18 which resulted in the production of two All-Americans, four Junior National swimmers, and five Massachusetts State champions. Additionally, as a board member and coach for Crimson Aquatics of Boston, Carter played a crucial role in shaping the organization's strategic direction and successfully guided Calvin Yang to the 2020 Olympic Trials. Nicole’s diverse coaching background, commitment to excellence, passion for developing happy and healthy athletes of all ages and proven ability to develop top-tier athletes make her an ideal leader for Salem Country Club's aquatics program. Her experience on the board of Crimson Aquatics further underscores her expertise, positioning her as an asset to the club's commitment to excellence in aquatics programming.
