Allan comes to Salem Country Club with over 25 years of experience in the golf industry. Having served as the PGA Head Professional at Worcester Country Club for over 20 years, Allan is excited to be able to dedicate his time to his passion for golf instruction. Allan has given thousands of lessons over the years to players of all abilities. Allan’s philosophy is to provide every student with time tested fundamentals in a manner which is easy to understand and that will improve their golf game now and well into the future. “I am extremely excited to be able to bring my passion for helping golfers improve their game to a club as historic as Salem. As golf professionals there is nothing we do that has a greater impact on our members than helping them play better golf,” Belden said. Allan is the current president of the New England PGA. He was also the NEPGA Golf Professional of the Year in 2015. Allan and his wife Carrie have 2 children, Madeline, 23, and Zachary age 17. Madeline is an assistant golf professional at Brae Burn Country Club in West Newton, Massachusetts and Zachary is a junior at Worcester Academy. Allan can be contacted via email or phone.
